### Parents, please note that these standards are listed in the order, and for the amount of time, that most Beyond Textbooks schools follow. These are guidelines, and your child's school may vary.

#### Benchmark 1:

1. 3.M.NBT.A.02: I can fluently add & subtract within 1,000. - 30 days
2. 3.M.OA.A.01: I can model the process of multiplication using repeated addition, arrays, a number line, and groups of. - 5 days
3. 3.M.OA.A.02: I can model the process of division using repeated subtraction, fair sharing, and arrays. - 5 days
4. 3.M.OA.A.03: I can create and solve multiplication and division word problems. - 5 days
5. 3.M.OA.A.04: I can create and solve a multiplication problem, division problem, or word problem with unknown numbers. - 5 days
6. 3.M.OA.B.05: I can apply properties for multiplication and division problems. - 5 days
7. 3.M.NBT.A.03: I can multiply by single digit numbers by multiples of 10. - 5 days

#### Benchmark 2:

2. 3.M.G.A.02: I can partition shapes into equal parts. - 5 days

5. 3.M.NF.A.03: I can compare fractions and show their equivalence. - 10 days
6. 3.M.MD.A.02a: I can measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using metric units. - 10 days
7. 3.M.MD.A.02b: I can solve measurement word problems. - 10 days

#### Benchmark 3:

1. 3.M.OA.C.07: I can fluently multiply & divide facts up to 12. - 5 days
2. 3.M.MD.A.01: I can tell how much time has passed in real life situations using a clock to the minute. - 10 days
3. 3.M.NBT.A.01: I can use place value to round a number to the nearest ten or hundred. - 10 days
4. 3.M.OA.D.08: I can solve 2-step word problems. - 10 days
5. 3.M.MD.B.04: I can generate measurement data by measuring length using rulers marked with halves & fourths of an inch. - 10 days
6. 3.M.MD.B.03: I can create and analyze graphs to answer questions. - 10 days

#### Benchmark 4:

1. 3.M.G.A.01: I can create and categorize different shapes by their attributes. - 5 days
2. 3.M.MD.C.07: I can find the area of a 2-dimensional figure using tiling, multiplication, and addition. - 10 days
3. 3.M.MD.D.08: I can find perimeter with known and unknown side lengths, and relate it to area in real-world problems. - 10 days

1. 3.M.OA.B.06: Understand division as an unknown-factor problem. For example, find 32 ÷ 8 by finding the number that makes 32 when multiplied by 8. (Month 1)
2. 3.M.MD.C.05: Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement. a. A square with side length 1 unit, called ―a unit square, is said to have ―one square unit of area, and can be used to measure area. b. A plane figure which can be covered without gaps or overlaps by n unit squares is said to have an area of n square units. (Month 9)
3. 3.M.MD.C.06: Measure areas by counting unit squares (square cm, square m, square in, square ft, and improvised units). (Month 9)
